A Santa Monica native born with a hi-8 camera in his hands, Dave got his start directing shorts and music videos that showcased his unique talent for mashing up genres and turning them upside down. Whether it’s his bite-sized Instagram passion projects or his feature films, Dave has a penchant for the explosively absurd. His project TOOTHPIX, an anthology of 12 second short films that parodies the Los Angeles food scene, has been celebrated for its innovation by NPR, Bon Appetit, and The Guardian. He is currently in production on a Wile E Coyote live action film with Warner Bros.
